For the rest of the weekend:
* Then the girls are going to visit Grandma this afternoon. So it will be feeding and settling while eating and watching the races and the AFL.
* Tomorrow Lil-lil has a birthday party, so Goosey and Demon and I will hang together.
*Skip is going to the NRL grand final to watch my team trounce those fellas from across the ditch.
Skip is cheering on the other team. That's OK, he's used to losing with Manly knocking his team (Broncos) out of the comp last week. ;)
Unfortunately my other team, the Jets, didn't make the grand final in the NSW cup.
* It's Skip and my 14 year anniversary this weekend (since we got together, not married). We'll have a glass of champagne to celebrate.
* I finally got my hair cut and I'm loving it. Nothing like a new 'do to make you feel good. Like cutting away the heaviness of pregnancy and being unwell and moving on.
What are you up to this weekend?

Sounds like the makings of a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteLmao that you nicknamed that sweet little angel Demon!
Enjoy every moment! xoxo
Sounds lovely - and happy 14 years! We always celebrate the anniversary of when we got together {it was 18 years ago in July!} And glad you're loving you new haircut - is that it in your new twitter avi? Gorgeous!!!
ReplyDeleteIsn't it amazing how a simple haircut can lift your moods?!
ReplyDeleteCongrats on 14 years together. In 2 weeks, James and I will have been together 17 years. Since I was a wee little 13 yr old baby. Good lord, if Abi starts dating at 13, I will have a stroke!!
My inlaws are at the AFL today and then fly back for the NRL final tomorrow. What a life!
My team, the Tigers, were knocked out of the finals a few weeks back, I was devo. So tomorrow, I am rooting for the Sea Eagles. I think they have it in the bag!
James has Grad School ALL weekend so it's just me and the kids at home. My inlaws are off, being entertained in corporate sport boxes and my parents are up at our holiday house in Noosa, so I have no one to help me out with the kids. Wahhhh
Enjoy your quiet times this weekend,
xxx
Enjoy it all - especially the first part!!
ReplyDeleteYou deserve a break - and then some.
Good luck to your team too.
:-)
It does sound like a good weekend Corinne. Must be nice just to have a 'normalish' weekend, after all you have been through in recent weeks. Hope you enjoy your little pieces of quiet(er) time while the little ladies are off visiting :o) xo
ReplyDeleteI love that 1st haircut post baby. It does make you feel great doesn't it?
ReplyDeleteThe hubs and I got together 18 years ago today. Time flies (and I'm getting old).
Apologies if you get this twice - my comments always get eaten in your blog for some reason!
ReplyDeleteJust wanted to say had an anniversary this weekend too but with husband work commitments haven't had a chance to celebrate :( He too is off to footy for work in this awful weather, but I feel more sorry for me stuck at home indoors with a 3yr old!
