Holidaze

Wow, almost a whole week without blogging. That must be a record for me. I've been too busy holidaying at home. Going to the beach, catching up with friends, cleaning up the mess that comes with having the five of us home.

To be honest, Fat Mum Slim's instagram photo a day challenge has been the sum total of my online life. I do love Instagram, def been my fave thing of the past few months.

All this time away from blogging has my mind swinging from making this blog the best ever in 2012 to just walking away from it altogether. Where will the blogging road go? I don't know. I'm pretty certain I'll be here in some form or another though. Once the kids are at school I'll work out what 2012 holds for the Daze. First things, will be a makeover, I think it's time, don't you?

    I've done the same thing this week.

    Not logging on and not missing it one little bit. Spending time with the kids, swimming, enjoying the weather and peace that comes with not having to catch up on everyone's blogs or posting my own.

    Then jumping on today and getting sucked right back in - DOH!

    First of all, don't go! :)

    Secondly, instgram is so far, the only real form of social media I really love.

    It feels private, & non judgmental, non tryhard, & non high school.

    You've got the school shoes in already... I'm very impressed!!

    I've both missed and not missed my blog in equal measures... I've absolutely loved doing a bit more reading and less writing. I have no plans for the blog in 2012 (save for the Grateful-reveal tonight!) or probably forever. I'll just keep doing what I'm doing until I bore the pants off everyone (and then things will re.al.ly get interesting!!!). Happy hols, Corinne. x

    To be honest, I know what you mean about blogging. I went 10 whole days without writing or reading a word. I did miss it though. But it WAS nice to get back to basics and spending time with my fam all while on holiday's in QLD.
