It is time we all purchased our lovely stationery and coloured envelopes and wrote to our loved ones. I feel for the poor historians in years to come who will find the email sent by so and so in 2011 - not the same as a pile of letters tied together with ribbon!Kerryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05793301413111868803noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2157702440407043499.post-90954429834850914802011-04-01T13:22:16.206+11:002011-04-01T13:22:16.206+11:00Oh, it has been too, too long since I received a *...Oh, it has been too, too long since I received a *real* letter. If I do, it's usually from my Mum because she doesn't use a computer. But even she hasn't sent me one in a long time.

Maybe I should write one to her? ;)Jodie Anstedhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12300961546795965857noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2157702440407043499.post-14263027941109024392011-03-29T22:19:38.339+11:002011-03-29T22:19:38.339+11:00I have a few friends that I write to and receive m...I have a few friends that I write to and receive mail back. It is nearly a forotten art and such a simple pleasure. Only today I sent out a little handmade card with a short lettr in it to a friend. I set myself the goal of sending at least one but hopefully two a week to friends and family. Sometimes I just send the card with the words - I am thinking of you inside and others i write a letter to. How wonderful for you. I too get very excited whenever I receive an invitation/a thank you/an announcement. I love the stationery and the writing... I love it all!
I used to write ALOT, not so much these days. Every so often, I'll print photos off and send them with a little handwritten note to friends/family, just for that personal touch. Facebook sort of killed the need to do that too.
Hope you can grab that moment to reply to your friends :o)All For Lovehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13151973819133926868noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2157702440407043499.post-17221035263354432802011-03-29T18:47:21.974+11:002011-03-29T18:47:21.974+11:00I love a good handwritten letter. But sadly not many people appreciate it these days, especially how "outdated" it is by the time the person receives it, whereas an email is instant.
I tried a couple of years ago to start up the "pen pal" thing with a few people i've met online, but they quickly grew tired and i have a few letters out there unanswered *shrugs*Miss Pinkhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04339773113889860348noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2157702440407043499.post-29096162396139071932011-03-29T15:10:46.227+11:002011-03-29T15:10:46.227+11:00Letters never get old. :)Letters never get old. :)Lettershttp://www.sampleletters.org.uk/noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2157702440407043499.post-84689510582294958192011-03-29T13:50:00.605+11:002011-03-29T13:50:00.605+11:00Can I send an email instead?? xCan I send an email instead?? xMrs Wooghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13272090974052486539noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2157702440407043499.post-72892070313705732252011-03-29T12:57:36.316+11:002011-03-29T12:57:36.316+11:00You know what, you're right!
